President Biden, who initially positioned himself as a steadfast advocate for Israel, appears to have shifted his stance on the ongoing conflict.
During the State of the Union, President Biden was caught in a candid moment, mentioning that he and Netanyahu were going to have a serious discussion.
According to MSNBC anchor Jonathan Capehart, Biden emphasized the importance of Netanyahu’s responsibility to protect innocent lives while defending Israel and pursuing Hamas. “Netanyahu has the right to defend Israel and go after Hamas, but he needs to be more mindful of the innocent lives lost as a result of these actions,” Biden stated.
“He is causing more harm to Israel than benefiting it,” he further commented, expressing his belief that such actions were in direct opposition to the values Israel upholds.”
In an interview with Capehart, Biden expressed his strong belief that it is a significant error and emphasized his desire for a cease-fire.
Schumer’s speech against Netanyahu boosts Bibi in Israel’s battle to defeat Hamas
Biden, along with many other Democrats, including the progressive wing of the party, is calling for a cease-fire.
Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, a Democrat from New York, has urged Israel to choose a new prime minister in order to progress towards a lasting peace between Israelis and Palestinians, specifically through the implementation of a two-state solution.
According to the majority leader, he believes that Prime Minister Netanyahu has lost his way by prioritizing his political survival over the best interests of Israel.
“He basically told Bibi Netanyahu to go for a walk,” Trump remarked.
Former President Trump pointed out that Israel also suffered significant losses on October 7. He emphasized the importance of remembering this fact, suggesting that Senator Schumer may have forgotten it. Trump suggested that Schumer’s decision-making may be influenced by a desire for more votes, as he observed the size and impact of Palestinian marches. According to Trump, Schumer appears to be leaning towards supporting the Palestinians instead of Israel.

President Biden appeared to endorse Schumer’s comments, affirming from the Oval Office on Friday, “Senator Schumer reached out to my senior staff. I won’t go into detail about his speech, but he delivered a compelling address, expressing a genuine concern that is shared not only by him, but by numerous Americans.”
Trump boldly stated, “The Iran nuclear deal would have never been signed and Israel would have never been attacked if he were supportive of Israel.”
