Tragic Death of 6-Year-Old Following I-75 Crash That Claimed Lives of His Family

A heartbreaking tragedy has struck a family in Bartow County as a 6-year-old boy has passed away just days after his parents and older brother were killed in a devastating crash. The loss of yet another innocent life has left the community in deep mourning and shock.

According to family friends, Titus Mason was taken off life support on Wednesday.

Titus and his family were on their way home from a church event when tragedy struck. The devastating crash took the lives of his beloved parents, Dakarai and Erin, as well as his older brother, Brandon Crawford.

5-year-old Noah, the youngest son of the Mason family, is expected to make a full recovery.

“We kindly request your ongoing prayers for us, as well as for the other families affected by this heartbreaking tragedy, and especially for our little Noah who is enduring the unimaginable loss of his entire immediate family. It is truly indescribable the pain we are experiencing,” expressed Erin’s cousin Brittany Sanders in a heartfelt message shared on a GoFundMe page.”

The Mason family was traveling in a Kia van when it suddenly veered across the center median, causing a chain-reaction crash. The reason for the van’s sudden deviation from the road remains unclear.

Aimee Odom tragically lost her life in a devastating car accident. According to her friends, she was on her way to a graduation party when the collision occurred.

Odom’s family has organized a memorial service for her at 11 a.m. on Friday. The service will be held at the Owen Funeral Home in Cartersville. In honor of Odom, her family kindly requests that attendees wear pink and consider making donations to the Georgia Innocence Project instead of bringing flowers.

Brandon Crawford’s funeral is scheduled to take place on Monday at 11 a.m. at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Cartersville. Those who want to pay their respects can attend the visitation on Sunday at Mack Eppinger & Sons Funeral Home.
