Absolics, a subsidiary of SKC, is set to receive $75 million in funding from the CHIPS Act to enhance semiconductor manufacturing in Georgia, as confirmed by the senator’s office.
In 2022, the Covington facility embarked on its groundbreaking journey. Thanks to the federal investment, the facility is set to generate 1,200 job opportunities in manufacturing and construction. As Absolics proceeds with the construction of a 120,000-square-foot facility, the employment opportunities are expected to flourish.
