After several hours of police activity in the area, CHP Hollister-Gilroy has finally reopened both directions of Highway 101 at Masten Avenue in Santa Clara County, California. Commuters can now resume their travels through the area without any further disruptions.

According to CHP, an individual was standing on the edge of the Masten Avenue overpass, but fortunately, they were able to safely remove the person from the overpass.

The good news is that all lanes are now open, as of 11:30 a.m.

According to the CHP, residual traffic may still persist in both directions due to the extended closure.
