A shooting incident that took place near a hardware store in Kansas City has left a man in critical condition. As of now, he is fighting for his life while the police investigate the matter.
According to the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department, on Sunday, July 7th at approximately 3:30 pm, emergency responders received reports of a shooting near the Westlake Ace Hardware store in the vicinity of Independence and White Ave.
Upon arrival, the first responders discovered that a male adult had been shot and was in critical condition. They immediately transported him to a local hospital for urgent medical attention.
Afternoon on Sunday saw the closure of the roadway in the vicinity as the investigation was underway. However, it has been reopened now.
At 9:15 p.m., the Kansas City Police Department reported that the victim is currently in stable but critical condition. There is no information available yet about potential suspects.
