Shooting in Newburgh Leaves One Dead and Another Injured

In the city of Newburgh, the incident took place in Orange County a little after midnight on Sunday, June 9.

As per the statement of Mike Neppl, who serves as the representative of the Newburgh Police, the officers who were dispatched to the area of 7 Monument St. discovered a victim who had succumbed to a gunshot wound.

According to Neppl, another individual with a non-life-threatening injury was discovered at Montefiore St. Luke’s Hospital in Newburgh, making them the second victim.

The family notifications are pending, and thus, the identities of the victims are not being disclosed at the moment.

According to Neppl, the perpetrator’s identity is still a mystery.
