Sheriff reports arrest of Columbus man with large drug stash and multiple firearms

A man has been arrested on Thursday by the Muscogee County Sheriff’s Office on multiple drug-related charges. During the execution of their search warrants, the Special Operations Unit of the Sheriff’s Office discovered and confiscated thousands of dollars worth of drugs.

MCSO has reported that Quincy Hicks is facing eight charges, one of which is possessing controlled substances within 1,000 feet of a school.

During the search, law enforcement officers carried out search warrants on Hicks’ premises and discovered and confiscated the following items:

    • Three firearms
    • 237 Grams of Cocaine valued at $23,700
    • 20 Marijuana plants valued at $40,000
    • $2,279.00 in US Currency
