Sheriff claims man arrested in Fulton County was reportedly engaging in criminal activities while on probation

A College Park man, who was already on probation, has been arrested by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office and is now facing several additional arrest warrants.

The sheriff’s office has reported that Quatez Elliott, aged 26, was found guilty of multiple charges in 2023. These charges include aggravated assault, armed robbery, aggravated stalking, burglary, and cruelty to children.

FCSO stated that on Tuesday, he was once again apprehended for persisting in his criminal activities, leading to further charges from the City of South Fulton and Clayton County.

The arrest was made through a collaborative effort between the FCSO Criminal Investigations Unit, FCSO K-9 Unit, and several federal partner agencies, according to the sheriff’s office.

Elliott, who was apprehended by the Fugitive Apprehension Support Team of the Criminal Investigations Division in the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office, is currently being held in custody at the Fulton County Jail.

Sheriff Patrick “Pat” Labat emphasized that despite being given a second chance through probation, this young man decided to persist in his criminal activities. He expressed his commitment to safeguarding innocent victims of crime and upholding the law by apprehending those who defy it.
