Serious Injuries Sustained as Range Rover Passengers Ejected in I-66 Crash

Three individuals were taken to the hospital following a crash on I-66 in Fairfax County during the early hours of Easter morning. According to authorities, two of the victims sustained life-threatening injuries.

Around 3:45 a.m., a Toyota Camry traveling westbound in Fairfax County lost control and collided with the right jersey wall. Eventually, the vehicle came to a stop in the left travel lane. As a result of the crash, the car lost power and went dark.

Just moments later, a Range Rover collided with the Camry as it was traveling in the left travel lane. The Range Rover was unable to avoid the collision.

Two passengers who were not wearing seat belts were thrown out of the Range Rover during the accident. They were immediately taken to nearby hospitals due to their severe injuries, which were life-threatening. On the other hand, the driver and a third passenger declined medical assistance at the crash site.

The driver of the Camry was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Authorities are currently investigating the incident.
