According to a report by The New York Times, Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) has undergone a transformation from a strong progressive to a somewhat caustic anti-left “centrist.” As a result, several of his top political advisers have chosen to leave. This includes Rebecca Katz, Fetterman’s longtime adviser and confidante since 2015, as well as Adam Jentleson, his Senate chief of staff who quietly resigned last month, as reported by The Times. Additionally, three press staffers, including his communications director who also served as a close aide, have departed. The Times noted that while Fetterman’s office has a lower turnover rate compared to the average Senate office, these departures are significant because these individuals were instrumental in Fetterman’s rise before his notable departure from the political left.
