SAN FRANCISCO -Thursday morning in San Francisco, an individual was fatally stabbed while another woman sustained minor injuries.
The San Francisco Police Department reports that the assault occurred in the vicinity of Mission and Washburn streets at approximately 5:37 a.m. Two victims were discovered at the scene, according to officers: a 45-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman with evident stab wounds.
Both victims received aid from officers prior to being transported to a nearby hospital by paramedics due to their critical injuries. Despite efforts to save his life, the man was declared deceased. Despite having recovered from her injuries, the woman’s present state remains unknown.
A homicide investigation has been initiated by the police department in relation to the fatal assault.
There have been no arrests made.
