D.C. Fire and EMS have reported the discovery of a body in the waters north of the Key Bridge.
Arlington County firefighters provided assistance to their counterparts in Washington D.C. for what was initially reported as a water rescue. They responded after a person was spotted floating in the Potomac River. However, upon further investigation, it was determined to be a recovery operation as the individual was tragically found deceased.
The exact time and cause of the person’s death remain uncertain.
