Raymond Sanchez, an army veteran who has served two tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, is facing a distressing situation in his return home. The couple, Raymond and his wife Ciera, are struggling with flooding and sewer issues in their residence located in Madison, Alabama.
After being ignored by Pathlight Property Management to address the repairs that have been affecting their home, the couple decided to reach out to News 19 for help.
The HVAC system, water leaks, and raw sewage problems are severe enough that it has become a concern for the safety of the young children who cannot play in the yard.
Raymond Sanchez shared that the issues began within a month of moving into their new house.
After our story was aired and brought up the issues, Pathlight reached out to the Sanchez family with a solution. They agreed to end the rental agreement, reimburse the Sanchez family for three months of rent, and cover the expenses related to moving.
Sanchez expressed her desire for the company to publicly acknowledge the extent of the ordeal her family had to endure.

In just a few days, Sanchez and his family will finally be able to move into their new home. After the challenges they faced over the past 10 months, he hopes that nobody else has to go through what they did.
Sanchez expressed his disappointment, stating that his family had been victims of this situation for an extended period. He found it unacceptable that authorities tried to justify their lack of communication.
