The Montgomery police department is currently on the lookout for a suspect involved in a robbery that took place at a Dollar General store around noon on Thursday.
On McGehee Road’s 3400 block, a robbery took place. Although the police department has a policy against identifying businesses that have been targeted by criminals, WSFA 12 News crews present at the scene observed several units at the Dollar General store.
According to the authorities, an unidentified suspect entered the establishment and demanded money before leaving on foot. The incident was reported by an individual who witnessed the ordeal.
Police have reported no injuries and have not provided a description of the suspect.
