Police searching for gunman after two men are shot on a busy street in Flatbush, Brooklyn.

An investigation is underway by the police regarding a double shooting that took place on a busy street in Flatbush, Brooklyn during daylight hours on Monday.

At approximately 5:45 p.m., the incident occurred at 1433 Flatbush Ave where the shooting took place.

According to the police, two individuals sustained injuries in the incident – a 51-year-old man who received a single gunshot wound to his right leg, and a 25-year-old man who was shot in his right hand.

The individuals were transported to NYC Health & Hospitals/Kings County and are currently in stable condition.

According to sources from the police department, a man wearing a black shirt and black shorts is the suspect who fled in a Nissan Altima towards the northbound side of Flatbush Avenue.

The investigation is still underway, and as of now, no arrests have been made.
