Police reveal surveillance footage of two more suspects in a Prince George’s County toddler homicide

Mocobizscene- The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGCPD) has recently shared a video featuring two additional individuals who are considered persons of interest in the tragic murder of a two-year-old. The footage, released to the public, aims to gather information and aid in the ongoing investigation.

At around 9:45 p.m. on February 7, surveillance footage captured a man exiting a 2003 gold Ford Explorer and entering a store located in the 9200 block of New Hampshire Ave. in Silver Spring. Inside the store, another individual of interest was observed standing at the counter.

The Ford they arrived in was stolen earlier that morning on Kanawha St. in Langley Park. This is the same SUV the suspects used to escape after the tragic murder of two-year-old Jeremy Poou-Caceres. Fortunately, the car has been successfully located and retrieved.

Two individuals have already been taken into custody in relation to the murder of Poou-Caceres. The two suspects are Israel Fuentes, Jr., aged 33, from Lewisdale, and Johnny Alejandro Turcios, aged 28, also from Lewisdale. They were apprehended on February 8th.

According to police, Fuentes and Turcios were part of a group involved in a shootout with another group on Thursday night. According to detectives, it is believed that the two individuals were not the intended targets and were hit by stray bullets.
