Police report 6 men shot in DeKalb County neighborhood

Channel 2’s Veronica Griffin confirmed with the police that six men were shot in a neighborhood in DeKalb County.

Police were summoned to the vicinity of Greenway Drive, located off Snapfinger Road, at approximately 9 p.m.

The incident began with two groups of men engaging in an argument, which quickly escalated into a violent exchange of gunfire between the two groups.

All six victims were transported to the hospital with injuries ranging from minor to serious. However, it has been reported that their injuries are not life-threatening.

An 18-year-old is among the youngest victims in the area, where multiple police and paramedic units have been dispatched.

According to the police, no one has been taken into custody at this time. However, they have not provided any information regarding their efforts to locate other individuals connected to the incident.
