Police intervene in a potential suicide attempt by a distressed woman on a downtown building

Three officers in Kansas City, Missouri, came to the rescue and saved the life of a woman on Independence Day.

The Kansas City Police Department has reported that a woman who had threatened to jump off a building downtown was engaged in a 30-minute conversation with police officers.

The officers lent a patient ear to her and empathized with the problems she shared. Gradually, she was convinced to accept their assistance to ensure her safety.
