According to police, newly released footage depicts the individuals responsible for assaulting a woman with a baseball bat on a street in New York City last week.
It seems that the video captures them strolling on a sidewalk while one of them is busy on a phone call. It remains uncertain whether the footage was filmed before or after the assault.

According to the police, the assault on the woman took place on Tuesday at approximately 2 p.m. on Monroe Street in Lower Manhattan.
The authorities suspect that the perpetrators’ intention was to snatch her bag. However, they fled the scene without any loot.
According to the victim’s family, people passing by and members of the community showed great courage by intervening and shouting, scaring off the perpetrator. Their timely and brave actions led to a call for help, which ultimately prevented even more severe consequences from occurring. CBS New York reported on this account.
Family says victim is afraid to return to work
According to her family members, the victim had recently departed from the day care where she is employed, located just up the street from where the assault occurred. As a result of the incident, she is now apprehensive about returning to her workplace.
According to her family, the mother, aged 58, sustained bruises on her head and leg and is currently recovering at home. However, she requires assistance with daily tasks.
“We are devastated by this senseless act of violence and feel a deep sorrow for our loss. It is crucial for us to spread awareness and demand justice for her,” stated the family.
