In La Marque, Texas, law enforcement officials have arrested and charged three teenagers, including a 17-year-old, for their involvement in a fatal shooting that occurred at a local Whataburger restaurant.
The La Marque Police Department reported that the shooting incident took place on October 14th. bAccording to authorities, Keshaun Edmond has been found to have physically assaulted two young individuals who were sitting at a table. The attack caused the other two juveniles who were present at the scene to flee in fear.
During the assault, Anthony Samuels reportedly displayed a handgun, according to the police. After being shot in the leg, Samuels was promptly transported to UTMB Galveston via ambulance for treatment. Fortunately, he received prompt medical attention and was able to survive his injuries.
According to the police, Samuels has been charged with four counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and has been arrested. The bond amount for his release has been set at $240,000, and he is currently in the Galveston County Jail. Samuels was taken into custody on October 25th.
On October 25th, a 15-year-old was taken into custody and charged with theft of a firearm and tampering with evidence. The minor was then transferred to the Galveston County Juvenile Justice system to face the charges. On October 26th, a 16-year-old was taken into custody and charged with tampering with evidence. The Galveston County Juvenile Justice system received him after his arrest.
