Pedestrian Fatality In Long Beach As Two Vehicles Collide With Victim

Mocobizscene-  A tragic incident occurred in Long Beach early Sunday morning, resulting in the death of a man who was struck by two vehicles. Unfortunately, one of the vehicles involved fled the scene, leaving behind an unsettling scene for authorities to investigate.

The Long Beach Police Department received a call and sent officers to the 700 block of West Pacific Coast Highway, specifically between Daisy and Maine avenues, at approximately 4:25 a.m.

The driver of the first vehicle ran away, while the second driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.

According to the police, the first vehicle struck the pedestrian while he was in the roadway, outside of a crosswalk. The paramedics declared the pedestrian deceased at the location.
