NYPD reports fatal pedestrian accident involving two cars in Parkchester

Mocobizscene-  A man is now facing charges in connection with a Sunday crash that resulted in the death of another man in Parkchester, according to police.

According to the NYPD, a tragic incident occurred at the Archer Street and White Plains Road intersection when a car collided with 22-year-old Wilbert de Jesus. Devastatingly, he was struck again by an SUV shortly after. It is heart-wrenching to know that De Jesus lost his life just a few blocks away from his home in Parkchester.

A 25-year-old driver, Adam Vilajeti, is now facing charges of driving while intoxicated in connection to the crash. The other driver of the car stayed at the scene.
