Newark police searching for a man caught on camera punching a woman

According to authorities, a man was seen on camera on Friday in Newark trailing a woman before punching and kicking her to the ground.

According to reports, it took place on the 100 block of South Street close to McCarter Highway about 4:45 a.m.

The suspect, according to police, is wanted for aggravated assault. They are currently looking for him. The individual was seen on surveillance footage donning a ski mask, gloves, and dark-colored clothes.
