New York Man Victimized in Carjacking Incident at Hackensack Wawa, According to Police

Residents in Hackensack are feeling uneasy after a carjacking incident occurred at a local Wawa early in the morning.

According to the police, a 43-year-old man from New York was the victim of a robbery. He reported that four men approached him and forcibly took away several of his belongings, including his 2018 Land Rover.

There were no reported injuries.

The convenience store on River Street is a hotspot for Uber and Lyft drivers, according to News 12 New Jersey.

The police are currently investigating the incident. News 12 is awaiting further information from the authorities regarding the suspects’ descriptions and any potential arrests that have been made.
