Mocobizscene- Several teenagers were apprehended by the Miami-Dade police following a successful operation on Saturday night aimed at cracking down on intersection takeovers.
A specific arrest was made in relation to a takeover that occurred at the intersection of Biscayne Boulevard and 2nd Street in Miami. Billy Rodriguez, a 21-year-old individual, is facing accusations of engaging in risky stunts at the intersection during the early hours of Sunday, around 2:00 a.m.
According to the police, he is the individual who was captured on camera performing donuts while a crowd gathered around to watch. Rodriguez faces charges of reckless driving and drag racing. Rodney Brissete, a 20-year-old individual, is facing charges of drag racing and reckless driving.
Kevin Ramosguadarramas, an 18-year-old individual, found himself in a situation where he was arrested on multiple charges, which included reckless driving and fleeing from the police.
Jarosla Legenzov, an 18-year-old, was arrested for several charges including aggravated fleeing and attempting to elude police officers after causing an accident or injury, third-degree grand theft of a vehicle, and resisting an officer without violence to his person.
During the weekend operations, Miami-Dade police apprehended two minors. In total, the MDPD made six arrests, issued 29 citations, impounded three vehicles, seized one firearm, and successfully recovered one stolen vehicle.
