In Cumberland, luck was on the side of a player who hit the jackpot of $560,000 in the Multi-Match game. The winning ticket was sold at Sheetz on Bedford Road. Additionally, a Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold at the Pilot Travel Center in Hagerstown.
No one has claimed either of the prizes yet.
The lucky winner of the Multi-Match ticket has matched all six winning numbers from the draw, which are 03–14–29–30–32–35. The winner will now have the option of choosing between an estimated annuity of $560,000, which will be paid in 25 annual installments, or a cash payout of approximately $310,000.
In 2024, a lucky Maryland Lottery player snagged their sixth jackpot win in the popular Multi-Match game.
So far this year, the state has sold 35 $50,000 tickets, with the third-tier Powerball win being the latest addition.
The Monday, July 15th Powerball drawing did not produce a winner for the jackpot prize, causing it to increase in value. The estimated annuity value for the upcoming drawing on Wednesday is now at $75 million, with a cash option of $36 million.
