Mocobizscene- Torre Desmond Gray, Sr., a 37-year-old resident of Temple Hills, was the victim of a hit-and-run incident on Saturday morning. The driver of the pick-up truck initially fled the scene but later decided to contact the police.
According to the police, Gray approached the parked pick-up truck in the 600 block of L Street around 1:40 a.m. on Jan. 27. As he reached the driver’s side door, the truck started moving and hit him.
Gray was immediately taken to a local hospital, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries.
Officials have stated that the driver of the truck left the scene but later reached out to authorities. Upon initial investigation, it was discovered that the truck driver had some connection to Gray, although the nature of their relationship remains unclear.
