Following a gunshot in Latonia, a man has died and a woman has been gravely injured.
Tuesday just before 3:30 p.m., officers from the Covington Police Department were dispatched to the 4000 block of Church Street. Officers discovered the deceased body of Patrick E. Sand, 51, of Covington, and a woman with injuries.
The female patient was transported to University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Police have not disclosed her name or the nature of her injuries.
Robert Hartman, 32, of Covington was detained by police on a murder charge. The Kenton County Detention Center currently holds him in custody.
