A Madison landscape company recently fell victim to embezzlement, and a Huntsville woman has been charged with theft in connection with the incident. According to police reports, the woman was found guilty of stealing money from the company.
The Madison Police Department has pressed charges of first-degree theft of property against Cassandra Watson Scott, who is 42 years old.
On July 23, authorities apprehended Scott at her residence, according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.
Later that evening, she was released from the Madison County Jail.
