Long Beach Drive-by Shooting Reported

LONG BEACH, CA: Saturday, authorities reported that an assailant struck a moving vehicle in Long Beach; however, there were no reported injuries.

The Long Beach Police Department reported that officers were dispatched to the vicinity of the 2000 block of Orange Avenue at approximately 11:35 p.m. on Friday. According to police, the suspect fled the scene before their arrival, and they discovered evidence of a gunshot.

Immediate motive and suspect information was unavailable.
