Local law enforcement agency in metro Atlanta seizes $400,000 worth of methamphetamine in Georgia city

With the assistance of a sheriff’s office from the metro Atlanta area, Muscogee County has successfully removed hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of meth from its streets.

Muscogee County Sheriff Greg Countryman has announced that a crime suppression operation was carried out in Columbus earlier this week by his deputies and the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office.

During a traffic stop in north Columbus, law enforcement officials discovered four kilograms of methamphetamine concealed inside the vehicle.

According to reports, the estimated street value of these drugs is around $415,570.
