Live updates on the capture of a white supremacist and his accomplice following two unidentified murders in Idaho

Law enforcement officials held a press conference to announce that they have successfully captured the inmate from Idaho who had escaped custody following a shootout at a hospital, along with his accomplice.

On Thursday afternoon, law enforcement apprehended Skylar Meade, a 31-year-old inmate from the Idaho Department of Corrections associated with a white supremacist group, along with Nicholas Umphenour near Leland, Idaho.

Law enforcement officials have discovered two additional homicide victims who may be connected to the escape of Meade and Umphenour. During their search, authorities also found shackles at one of the crime scenes. The investigation into these incidents is currently underway.

Both Meade and Umpehnour were apprehended without any shots being fired.

Nearly a day has passed since Meade managed to escape from prison during his transfer from a hospital. The police report states that Umphenour arrived at the ambulance bay and opened fire, giving Meade the chance to flee and get into his vehicle.
