Joe Biden Confronts Outrage from MAGA Supporters Following Arrest of Haitian Migrant for Rape

Biden and his administration, including Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, have faced extensive criticism and even impeachment attempts from numerous Republicans. The main point of contention revolves around the annual rise in illegal immigration since Biden assumed office. Recently, blame has intensified following the tragic death of Laken Riley, a nursing student from Georgia who was allegedly murdered by an illegal migrant. Similar cases across the country have further fueled the criticism.

The spokesperson for Plymouth County declined to provide any comment when approached by Newsweek.

Newsweek contacted Rockland police, the White House, and DHS through phone and email to seek their comments.

The incident took place on Wednesday evening at around 7:06 at a 110-room Comfort Inn that was designated as a shelter in October. Authorities in Plymouth County received an emergency call reporting a sexual assault at the location. This particular Comfort Inn is part of a state and federal program aimed at providing housing for migrant families. It was revealed that Alvarez was residing at this address at the time of the incident.

The police came across a migrant woman who had been victimized and promptly took her to a nearby hospital for medical attention. It was necessary to employ translators in order to communicate with the victim, who spoke French Creole.

According to investigators, she reportedly informed them that she had asked him to leave her alone, but he persisted, with Alvarez being identified as the individual responsible.

According to Fox News’ Bill Melugin and Griff Jenkins, Alvarez arrived in the United States in June 2023 through the Biden administration’s parole program for Haitians. This program granted him a two-year parole, enabling him to travel directly to JFK Airport in New York City from Haiti.
