Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart engage with fans outside MSG following Game 7 defeat

Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart made a heartfelt gesture towards the dedicated Knicks fans who stood by their team, regardless of the outcome of the season-ending game 7 against the Pacers. They took the time to show their appreciation to the large groups of NYK supporters who gathered around the Garden after the game.

In the crucial final game on Sunday, the Knicks and Pacers found themselves deadlocked at 3 games each. It was a high-stakes matchup, and all eyes were on Indiana’s standout player, Tyrese Haliburton. Haliburton delivered an exceptional performance, draining six three-pointers and leading his team to victory with an impressive 67% shooting percentage. Unfortunately for the Knicks, their season came to an end, as they were unable to overcome the challenges they had faced throughout.

Despite the loss in the crucial game, Knicks fans still gathered at The Garden. Brunson, who unfortunately fractured his left hand during the game, showed his sportsmanship by getting out of his car and shaking hands with the crowd.

“I am incredibly grateful to them,” expressed the 27-year-old guard during the post-game press conference. “They have been absolutely fantastic to me, my family, and this team. It’s truly amazing, and I am so appreciative.”

“They have always been there for us during those nights when we needed a boost of energy. Whether it was during crucial games on the road or any other challenging situation, they never failed to provide us with the support we needed. Their dedication and commitment are truly remarkable.”

“We can’t express enough how much they deserve more than what we can offer in this playoff run.”

As he made his exit from MSG, Hart, who bravely battled through an abdominal injury, made sure to express his appreciation for the Knicks fans.

A fan exclaimed, “Look, there goes Hart! He truly embodies the spirit of determination. I couldn’t care less about what others have to say!”
