Iowa City apartment resident allegedly beaten up by Coralville man charged with burglary

According to reports, a Coralville resident allegedly attacked an individual in their Iowa City apartment, resulting in charges of First Degree Burglary against him.

According to a criminal complaint, the victim’s apartment was visited by Semaj House, along with two juveniles. When the victim opened the door, House started punching the victim without any provocation. The incident was unprovoked and sudden.

According to reports, a Ring camera set up in the victim’s living room captured the incident.

House has been accused of committing First Degree Burglary.

The police have not yet disclosed any potential charges for the juveniles involved in this case, nor have they indicated if House could face further charges.
