Investigation underway by police at Buckhead gas station after fatal shooting

On Thursday morning, a fatal shooting took place at a gas station in Buckhead that is now under investigation by the Atlanta Police Department.

Around 2:15 a.m., a shooting occurred at the Chevron gas station located at Piedmont Road and Morosgo Drive. As a result, the police had to temporarily block off a section of the intersection.

According to two witnesses who spoke with Channel 2’s Steve Gehlbach, the shooting at the gas station appears to be connected to an ongoing dispute. However, investigators have not yet disclosed any details about what led up to the incident.

The police had been present at the scene since 2:15 a.m. and finally cleared it at around 6 a.m.
