Inmate who fled from prison work detail in GA apprehended by police

An inmate who had escaped from a prison detail was apprehended by deputies in Spalding County.

On Monday morning, a call was made to the McDonough police regarding the escaped inmate, Brandon Jordan.

Moments after, the authorities received a report about Jordan’s appearance and were informed by a witness that he boarded a black Cadillac and headed northbound on Highway 19, towards Henry County.

The tag number of the Cadillac was provided to the deputies by a witness.

After examining the tag number using FLOCK cameras, the authorities were able to locate the Cadillac in close proximity to Highway 20 West.

The Cadillac was stopped by a McDonough police officer, who conducted a felony traffic stop.

Assistance from other officers resulted in a smooth arrest of Jordan with no fuss.
