Indiana state police arrest 16-year-old murder suspect in Kentucky

Kentucky State Police announced on Sunday that they have apprehended a 16-year-old murder suspect from Indiana in Western Kentucky.

According to the Kentucky State Police (KSP), on Friday, the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office was informed by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office in Indiana that a murder suspect had made their way to a relative’s house in the Eddy Creek area of Lyon County. KSP troopers and detectives then carried out surveillance of the property throughout the weekend.

The suspect was apprehended without any complications around 3 p.m. CST on Sunday, as reported by KSP. However, the identity of the suspect was not disclosed in the press release issued by KSP.

The Lake Station Police Department in Indiana is leading the investigation into the murder.
