Iconic Hollywood Actress Tippi Hedren Reportedly Is Battling From Dementia

Mocobizscene – Hollywood legend Tippi Hedren, known for her iconic role in Alfred Hitchcock’s 1963 film “The Birds,” is reportedly battling dementia, as reported by Spanish media. The 94-year-old actress, who is also the mother of Melanie Griffith and grandmother of Dakota Johnson, revealed her condition to Spanish journalist Gustavo Egusquiza during an interview request. In response, Hedren’s team shared that she is no longer available for interviews due to her declining health. Sadly, her dementia has progressed to the point where she is unable to remember her illustrious career. Egusquiza expressed his sympathy, acknowledging that age has taken its toll on the Hollywood icon. Last month, Griffith took to social media to wish her mother a happy birthday. Hedren’s remarkable contributions to the entertainment industry were recognized with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and a Golden Globe for Most Promising Newcomer in 1964. Throughout her life, Hedren was married three times, first to Peter Griffith in 1952, then to her agent Noel Marshall until their divorce in 1982. In 1985, she married Luis Barrenechea, but they separated in 1995.
