Human Dead remains found in Walcott by Police

According to Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation associate director Mitch Mortvedt, law enforcement personnel discovered human remains in Walcott on Friday.

Mortvedt stated that the remains were sent to the Iowa Office of the State Medical Examiner in an interview with Our Quad Cities News on Tuesday night.

“We are anticipating the autopsy findings and possible identification,” Mortvedt texted. He stated that there is currently no additional information that can be made public.
