Police in Alabama pulled over HoneyKomb Brazy and two associates in December 2023 and charged them with possession of a firearm. During a vehicle search, officers found a Girson MC28 SA 9mm pistol and a Smith and Wesson MP 15 AR pistol. One of the rapper’s associates, bodyguard Miguel Hall, pleaded guilty to the federal gun charge in May of this year. Brazy initially expressed interest in going to trial to fight the case.
New legal documents obtained by XXL reveal that HoneyKomb Brazy has also pleaded guilty. This comes as part of a plea deal where both the defense and prosecutors recommended a sentence between two-and-a-half to three-and-a-half years in jail. HoneyKomb Brazy is set to receive his sentence from Judge Kristi DuBose on October 25th during his court appearance.
HoneyKomb Brazy Pleads Guilty To Gun Charge
Hall is set to discover his verdict in September, with a potential prison sentence of up to 15 years looming over him. According to reports, he was previously forbidden from owning a firearm as a result of a past protection from abuse order. As well as the possibility of a lengthy prison term, Hall may also face a $250K fine and three years of supervised release. As part of his plea deal, the prosecution has agreed not to bring any further charges against him and will suggest a reduced sentence.
Last January, it was revealed that authorities had been monitoring Brazy on social media as he was a “subject of multiple investigations for years.” The news now confirms that HoneyKomb Brazy has pleaded guilty to a federal gun charge. Special Agent Evan Fisher found out the location of Brazy during his arrest night based on his social media posts. However, the reason behind his interest in Brazy was not disclosed.
