Police reported that a vehicle hit a nine-year-old boy on a street in Williamsburg on Wednesday afternoon. According to the NYPD, a child was struck outside of 61 Harrison Avenue around 5:33 p.m.
According to officials, the patient was taken by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue and is currently in a stable condition. As of now, the investigation is still ongoing as the driver of the vehicle involved in the incident has fled the scene.
