Immie Teed and Josh Titmouth were all set to tie the knot in Exmouth, England, when an unexpected turn of events occurred.
Just hours before their 110-guest wedding, the caterer fell ill with E. coli and had to cancel. This left the couple in a difficult situation with no time to find a replacement.
According to SWNS, Teed and her fiancé had just arrived at the wedding location when they received a call from the caterer informing them of the cancellation.
Teed reminisced about her husband’s reaction to the caterer’s actions, as Josh, who had a good understanding of the caterer, remarked, “This isn’t funny if it’s meant to be a joke.”
I couldn’t believe it when I realized that I had consumed 1,000 calories just by licking envelopes for my wedding invitations. It was an accident, of course. I had no idea that the adhesive on the envelopes was so high in calories. I was shocked and a bit dismayed to discover that my innocent task had turned into a calorie-laden endeavor. According to the caterer, he had been experiencing sickness for a few days prior to the wedding, and unfortunately, he was unable to get out of bed on the day of the ceremony.

Teed shared that one of their bridesmaids generously offered to prepare a large batch of curry for the wedding. Her mother even considered reaching out to a nearby restaurant for assistance.

Barnes managed to pull off a feat by delegating tasks to her staff. She successfully delivered 110 meals just in time for the wedding, which consisted mostly of fish and fries.
The wedding reception menu also offered a variety of options to cater to different dietary requirements. Children were treated to crispy chicken nuggets while vegetarian guests indulged in a delicious veggie burger paired with crispy fries.
