Mocobizscene- Griselda Blanco, also known as the Cocaine Godmother, dominated the Miami drug trafficking market during the late 1970s and mid-1980s. She was born on February 14, 1943, in Cartegena, Colombia. Her mother’s name was Ana Blanco. Griselda was married to Dario Sepulveda from 1978 to 1983, until his death. Prior to that, she was married to Alberto Bravo from the late 1960s to 1975, when she killed him.

She was also married to Carlos Trujillo from the late 1950s to the late 1960s. Griselda had children with Carlos Trujillo named Osvaldo, Uber, and Dixon Trujillo. She also had a son named Michael Corleone Blanco with Dario Sepulveda. Griselda Blanco passed away on September 3, 2012.

According to The Guardian, Blanco’s mastery of misogyny played a significant role in her success. She skillfully leveraged it to establish a vast distribution network in the US, generating millions of dollars each month. To maintain her dominance, she built an empire and employed violent enforcers who were handsomely rewarded for eliminating competitors without hesitation, ensuring that no witnesses remained. It is estimated that she smuggled approximately $80 million worth of cocaine into the United States every month.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Griselda Blanco’s worth reached an impressive $2 billion during the height of her drug trafficking empire. Additionally, she had invested in real estate valued at around $500 million at the time of her passing.

The authorities seized four of Blanco’s properties, estimated to be worth 2 billion pesos (equivalent to approximately $118.7 million), but it is believed that she owned hundreds more, including a luxurious apartment that cost 550 million pesos ($32.6 million).
