First image of Khyree Jackson’s fatal 3-car crash in Maryland as NFL rookie is revealed

Freshly released photos depict the automobile that Khyree Jackson, the rookie player for Minnesota Vikings, was riding in when he suffered a fatal high-speed accident.

According to reports, the fatal accident that resulted in the loss of the fourth-round NFL Draft pick Jackson’s life involved a three-car collision. It was reported that 23-year-old Cori Clingman was trying to change lanes at a high speed when she collided with Jackson’s vehicle. Investigators have suggested that alcohol may have played a role in the accident.

Jackson’s hometown, Upper Marlboro in Maryland, was the site of the tragic crash that claimed his life. Within minutes of the incident, his mother received a devastating phone call informing her of her son’s untimely passing.

Jackson was traveling in the passenger seat of a maroon Dodge Charger, accompanied by his close friends, the driver of the car, Isaiah Hazel, and the backseat passenger, Anthony Lytton Jr. The trio was heading northbound near Route 4/Pennsylvania Avenue when the incident occurred.

The Maryland State Police is currently conducting an investigation on a tragic accident that resulted in the loss of three lives earlier today in Prince George’s County. According to a statement from the police, they suspect that Clingman was trying to change lanes at a high speed when she collided with a Dodge Charger and a Chevrolet Impala. Following the impact, the Charger veered off the road and hit several tree stumps before coming to a stop.

The crash resulted in the tragic deaths of both Jackson and Hazel at the site, while Lytton Jr was rushed to a nearby medical facility but eventually succumbed to his injuries.

At approximately 4am, Jackson’s mother, Ebbony, was informed of the tragic incident.

During the accident, Clingman had two passengers in the car, while a sole motorist occupied the third vehicle, a Chevrolet Impala. Fortunately, all passengers from these two vehicles were unharmed. Currently, criminal charges are pending, and the Maryland State Police Crash Team is conducting an investigation.

The news of Jackson’s passing has led to an outpouring of tributes, including one from Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell. He expressed his deep sorrow, saying, “This news has absolutely crushed me. Khyree was a true force of positivity at our facility and within our team. His infectious energy, confidence, and engaging personality made him an instant hit with his teammates.”

As we spent time together, it became clear that Khyree had all the makings of an exceptional football player. However, what truly stood out was his unwavering determination to be the best version of himself for the sake of his loved ones and those in his community. It’s difficult to find the right words to express my sorrow. My thoughts are with Khyree’s family, friends, teammates, and coaches during this difficult time.

JJ McCarthy, a fellow draft pick from 2024 and rookie quarterback for the Vikings, paid tribute to the late athlete, acknowledging his exceptional talent and character. “He had so much ahead of him. Rest in peace to a phenomenal athlete, but more importantly, a truly great man. See you in the next life, fam,” McCarthy said.
