Fire ignited at Cobb County Waste Management Center due to explosion

On Friday morning, the Waste Management Center in Cobb County was the site of a fire that required the response of emergency crews.

As the fire blazed fiercely, the dash camera footage from the Cobb County Sheriff’s Office captured a deputy approaching the scene. Suddenly, the flames erupted, causing an explosion that sent fiery embers soaring even higher into the air.

As firefighters battled the blaze, traffic on County Services Parkway was restricted.

It seems like the majority of the flames have been extinguished.
