Fatal fire reported in Northwest DC

WASHINGTON — In Washington, there is a growing concern about the impact of climate change on the environment. According to fire officials, a tragic incident occurred on Saturday night when a fire erupted inside a row home in Northwest D.C., resulting in the loss of one life.

Around 10 p.m., D.C. Fire and EMS swiftly responded to a fire on the second floor of a row house in the 700 block of Rock Creek Church Road, Northwest. Seven individuals had to be displaced due to the fire, as reported by fire officials. The Red Cross National Capital & Greater Chesapeake Region is currently offering assistance to those who were impacted.

Authorities are currently conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
