Dogs that were lost in Church Hill three months ago will be returned to their Florida family

After being separated from their family for over three months during a visit to Church Hill, a Florida family’s two dogs are finally coming back home. The family can’t wait to be reunited with their furry friends.

Towards the end of March, the family from Florida was in Church Hill for a visit with their loved ones. Accompanying them on the trip were their two adorable family dogs, Macy Lou and Cindy Lou.

While the family was in the process of packing up to head back home, their dogs caught sight of something in the nearby woods and quickly bolted in pursuit. Despite the family’s best efforts, their exhaustive search efforts were in vain as they were unable to locate the dogs.

In their desperate search for their beloved babies, they went as far as creating flyers and posting them all around with the hope of finding any leads. Despite their tireless efforts, they were unable to locate their lost pets, and had to return home to Florida with heavy hearts.

Despite their relentless efforts, the Church Hill family was unable to locate their beloved Macy Lou and Cindy Lou. Nonetheless, they remained determined to search for them every day. Their search was hindered by the fact that they had only recently moved from Illinois to Church Hill and were not aware of the Hawkins County Humane Society.

Two dogs were brought to the Hawkins County Humane Society on June 20, after being discovered running at large near Sandidge Hollow in Surgoinsville by the local animal control.

Upon intake, the two dogs exhibited an undeniable bond and exuded a charming demeanor. After receiving proper vaccination and deworming, their photos were promptly shared on both the Hawkins County Humane Society Facebook page and Petfinder for prospective adopters to see.

Cheri Fill, a resident of Dunnellon, Florida, made a phone call to the animal shelter on Tuesday.

According to Cheri, there is a high chance that the two dogs that were brought in on June 20 are actually their beloved pets, Macy Lou and Cindy Lou, which they had posted about on Facebook.

With great excitement, she exclaimed, “Those must be our missing dogs!”

Upon receiving photos from the family, we were able to confirm that the missing dogs, Macy Lou and Cindy Lou, had been located after being gone for over three months.

It was an incredible moment when they were finally reunited with their beloved pets. The overwhelming joy and excitement were palpable, and everyone was thrilled for them. It seemed like a miracle that they were able to find their furry companions after thinking they had lost them forever.

Cheri’s gratitude was evident as she repeatedly expressed her appreciation by saying “Thank you” multiple times. She then reached out to her father-in-law, Rich Fill from Church Hill, who promptly made his way to the shelter to collect Macy Lou and Cindy Lou.

Bob and Cheri Fill’s dogs were overjoyed to see him, and the couple is getting ready to return to Tennessee and reunite with their beloved pets. It’s truly a miraculous and heartwarming conclusion.
