DeKalb County road reopens following closure for gas leak repair

The DeKalb County Fire Rescue Department is currently investigating a gas leak on a bustling county road, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Early Wednesday morning, a leak occurred on Scott Blvd near Hwy 78.

A gas line was accidentally hit by a crew performing work in the area, as confirmed by a spokesperson for the department.

At the scene, an ACE Hardware store seemed to be the focal point, where a Channel 2 Action News photographer captured the incident. Repairs were in progress, leading to a partial road closure.
