DC police: Man fatally shot in parking lot day care car

Washington: The Metropolitan Police (MPD) reported that a male was shot and killed in Southeast D.C. on Tuesday evening.

At approximately 5:15 p.m., DC police investigating a triple gunshot in the Housing Authority Complex MPD received a call. The officers then proceeded to the 3200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, where they discovered the corpse of the man inside a car in the day care parking lot.

The MPD stated that a homicide investigation is underway.
